The founder's story

Daniel Chan

Daniel spent more than a decade as a senior director in textiles and garments — an industry where a single shipment can swing a quarter and where the real edge lives in the data behind the trade. He learned to read customs records the way a trader reads a tape: spotting which buyers were growing, which factories competitors quietly relied on, and where margin was moving before the market noticed. In 2022, longtime clients asked him to help move production to Vietnam. Walking them through site selection, permits, customs, and the first shipment exposed a gap no one was filling — a partner who could turn that hard-won knowledge into a repeatable landing process. That was the spark for Intereras: a company built not on theory, but on the same playbook Daniel had run himself.

Intereras did not start as an idea on a whiteboard. It grew, milestone by milestone, out of real shipments, real factories, and real markets entered.

2009–2021

A decade reading the trade behind the trade.

Over a decade as a senior director in textiles and garments — where customs data was the real edge.

For more than ten years Daniel ran sourcing and sales across the textile and garment supply chain, moving goods between Greater China, Southeast Asia, and Western buyers. The lesson that stuck: the companies that win are the ones who can see the market clearly — which buyers are scaling, which suppliers competitors depend on, where margin is shifting. Customs data was the instrument that made all of it visible.
